Anti-Bullying

Bullying is a huge and unfortunate reality for many of our children. Bullying is aggressive behavior from one person towards another person who is perceived to be less powerful. According to the American Society for the Positive Care of Children (American SPCC), 160,000 children skip school each day due to bullying. 28% of students in grades 6-12 in the United States have been bullied, and an estimated 30% of young adults have admitted to bullying. Bullying leads to our children having issues such as isolation, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression, and in recent news, has even led to children taking their own lives.

Bullying can also happen to adults. In a great deal of cases, this bullying occurs in the workplace. Bullying can be as detrimental for adults as it can be for children.
